If a bad actor is using a superintelligent AI, the only way to counter it will be a good actor using a superintelligent AI. If the west slows down or relinquishes its development of superintelligent AI, then China will get to superintelligence first and go on to dominate the world. Is that what this guy and others want? They need to stop being naive.
