Ah... we've had Artificial Intelligence for SO long ! My compass " knows " where North is and will point it out more accurately than any Human. My weathervane will seek out the direction of the wind and it's propeller shows me the speed. I have a Plumb Bob ( now extinct ) that finds and points to the Center of the Earth better than the smartest Geologist ! The governor on a steam engine " knows " how to regulate the engine speed.
