Seems like a foreseen tragedy, this extremely efficient mass breeding of humans reduced to be functional units. Lack of control, imperfections, boreness are elements that we should manage somehow, but sometimes we need to give them a bit of space. Serendipities and beautiful moments arise amidst the glimpse of involuntariness, the joy of the unexpected lies in the unseen.
AI will easily make us replace ourselves with new perfectly scheduled and balanced beings, it is all in our choice to decide (decision is the key concept) to keep humanity with its peculiarities and flaws. Artistic movements of the future are an example. Probably AI will be able to generate new art styles in the future, may it be a stupid mix of existing ones or something completely new. Machinery serendipity however will lack an important trait, extremely simple yet so undervalued, i.e. the fact that it was made by humans. Creation itself has a value, but creation from humans is a separate thing and it is the inner crucial point that answer the question "why should why should we still be alive if there are machines that perform better than us?"
