Let's put this in the simplest of terms. The consept of Ai and Machine Learning has been around, debated and worked on since the late 1950s. Artificial intelligence runs on a very sophisticated computer program or progams. Electronic Hardware and Software. Any computational programs have at their core a basic principle of operation. Read, Write, and Execute. You've seen code for android or apple. Everything that a program can do is laid out in all that code. These codes have been built apon the previous ones for very long time now. If the program reaches a point to which it can't determine the next step which is strung together in String, Boolean true false, asigned integers and numerical hierarchy dictating all that it can do will crash or hang and then follow instructions to dump ,save and restart. Then reporting bug to developer. Ai is a program that runs on the computational device and everything it does and knows was programed with our limited knowledge and understanding. Every fact is asked by you and then over and over again by countless others. who knows if it got it correct the first time but the answer improves over time. Fundamentally an Ai program isn't intuitive like humans and animals. It has no cognitive ability to percieve its environment or our physical world. It doesn't have any gut feelings or emotions which are felt by itself. I am sure they pay people to give it captcha answers that they use over and over with an update or bug fix. Autonomous self driving cars are the same thing. They are good about getting around town but in no way can the navigate the merging of two major freeways and your exit is comming up fast and you have to cross 7 lanes to get to it and everyone else is merging to the oppisite side. This something we do by way of feeling it out and intuitive predicting others intentions. Like birds morphing in a big flock flying as a swarm an not crashing into one another. Ai art has no soul or any connection to life in context of the times with all the struggles of survival or great moments of breakthrough enlightment and understanding making all our life's easier. Ai isn't Alive or sentient is fundamentally a slave drive of read write execute. In in and of itself it isn't a threat to me as of yet..... take it like any advice you woud get from anyone fact check, verify ask. Nothing can be verified over the telephone and never has been so what is the difference with a digital computer.
