Nah, I think this is going to be much closer to what we had during Covid, people on extended unemployment.
Gov is going to have to require companies keep a percentage of humans workers as a baseline for a while.
I also wouldn't be surprised if taxation coming into play dependent on how much AI is being used.
If most people were unemployed, without any sort of income, these companies can't do business without consumers, it would collapse on itself.
