Okay, I was following up until 9:08 where you went to full cope mode. I didn't even like that AI image, but to say the one on the left had way more expression literally makes any opinion you have on the matter brim with bias and irrelevant to people on the other side of the argument. In the end, you wasted 10 minutes of a strong starting argument to a clear subjective opinion you chose to insert for a quick gatcha moment. By the way, as someone that uses AI myself, Even I think that guy is a d*ck and that his opinions are trash. And still even with that personal bias I can see how you failed your general point. Truth is, both sides literally use the worst of the worst from the other side to judge them with a blanket statement. I am in a group that mostly uses AI to work with, literally, not a single person in a group of 50 something people call themselves an AI artist let alone artists. They just make songs and images to go along with them for fun. Things they'd never have the funding to create if they had to pay someone else to do it for them. Also, I find Asmon's opinion wrong as well, as someone who does watch him and usually agree with most of his takes, I agree with you on that one, that traditional/digital art still sits at a pedestal and will keep doing so for the foreseeable future. Even if AI reached a point of becoming indistinguishable in terms of quality I do agree that a lot of people would still be drown by the effort and process that went into creating art by hand from start to finish. But that brings into question the slew of hate coming from the art community towards AI. You can't claim on one hand that human made art is more popular and so much better, and at the next breath claim that AI art is stealing jobs and creates an oversaturation of the market and send hate towards people that use AI as a creative tool. Maybe I would get pity, but hate? All in all, I see vitriol on both sides, and your video isn't helping with that. All I see is artist doing the same AI bros do, neither side is willing to put a semblance of respect on the other or even just agree to disagree.
