Everything and I mean everything that Humanity has ever made can be used for good and for bad. Imagine an AI supercomputer that’s on our side. Solves unlimited power generation, climate change, space exploration, world hunger, human life expectancy sky rockets and helps develop technologies that would be make science fiction books a reality. It would literally be a Golden age for mankind as we spread across the starts throwing extinction out of the question. I’d say if we haven’t managed to go extinct with nuclear weapons by completely destroying ourselves I say give it a chance to be amazing. That doesn’t mean don’t be negligent with it either
