Your kid has to be super disciplined for such freedom in their education. 1/6 of the schools I went to preferred a method closer to that of college where we chose our subjects, therefore weekly timetable and besides those classes (could be 2 a week or 15) we do the work ourselves at tables in open planned rooms (cafeteria-like)
