Open source devs are 1000x powerful and impactful than "developers at those companies". They usually just implement what open source provides and developed.
The focus on corporations and regulations and disable open source sounds super corrupt.
Who decides which big corporation is allowed to replace jobs with AI that open source startups and SMEs arent allowed?
