Current US politics shout out the dimensions of human gullibility and its ramifications.
*AI has no sense of anything at all,* including of course reality. It has a database which is its source of information as well as algorithms used to analyze its data and summarize an analysis of that data. If an AI is acting as if it has a sense of anything, particularly if it is imitating human behavior, it's because someone gave it the data and algorithms it uses to present that imitation. Blame the programmers!
_"Jailbroken"_ AI typically means an AI is allowed to take data from interactions with something or someone else and, again using algorithms, imitate a rapport with that other thing or person. It's not remotely real, apart from indicating what is in its database and algorithms.
*Put simply:* Forget about self-aware, sentient, seriously intelligent AI. There is no such thing.
