Personally I'm agnostic about whether AI will replace me as a software dev.
The tech can get infinitely good, but until its listening to every conversation, every meeting, every whisper at the water cooler, it doesn't have the required context to beat me.
Of course we may well decide that privacy doesn't matter, and then it really is game over.
