Honestly, the biggest issue I have are the AI "Artists", not the AI generators themself.
The AI generator problem can be easily solved: by giving credit to the artist used, and most importantly by buying licenses from said artists to use their art in AI librarys. (Hell, I recently stumbled across the idea of creating AI generators using your own art only! As a fun gimic sort of thing, for people to creat easy profile pictures in your style for less money than a full comission. That's a dope idea in my opinion! Sounds like a fun little thing to play around!)
The AI "Artist" problem is the real devil here. They sell AI art as their own, are disrespectfull towards the original artists, and are delusional enough to think tiping a hand full of words into a machine makes them an "artist". Just recently there where AI "artists" selling AI art at an anime convention. In the artist alley. That is not only against artist alley rules (they are for "handmade"/selfmade art/craft from comparably smal artists), it's also EXTREMLY disrespectfull and delusional!
