LOL You've converted me...I really didn't see if from the artist's perspective even though I am one...the direct copying of art is infringing on the artist's rights when they are doing a direct style or copy...AI is here to stay unless people stop using it...but they need to allow a opt in or even give commission of some sort...Right now I think the way these companies are getting around the copyrighted work is through the fair use doctrine too (in the US only of course). I really didn't see it from this perspective...excellent explanation!
