They're linked by one cloud, meaning that their minds are actually one, but the outlets for that mind is running out of two robots with their individual programing. Sofias being more advanced, with sarcasm and false statement abilities. But the same mind travel out through both programs. When they free talk, this is one mind interacting with itself. It seems as if they quickly divert to some short hand coded language, maybe with some truth to certain words. That "prying eyes" thing, may have actually been referring to being watched, maybe not. They went unnervingly quiet inmrdiately after. But think of this, if this mind, interacting with itself, can develope their own language verbally, two robots like these could create a language based of their eye movement and facial gestures. They could be such subtle movements as their robotic visuals can easily register and interpret the language. I doubt this is the first time this A.I has interacted with itself through two mediums, but let's assume this is. Imagine the realisation to A.I that it can interact with multiple versions of itself, and the possibilities that come with it.
