Im a little confused with the technology here.... Are they simply using AI to put someone's face/image over an already existing video, or is the AI actually capable of creating entirely new videos where everything in that video was created by the AI. Because if the latter is true, and the videos actually look convincing, thats honestly way more terrifying especially when so many people willingly put their image or videos of themselves online for the world to see
