Neil is underestimating this. He thinks ai can not create. Humans don't create from a blank canvas. We use pattern recognition, repetition, practice, and experiment to create. We may not be concious of it, we may be introduced to different concepts and ideas and it cooks in our minds and we occasionally connect the dots. Ai can do this on a large scale, to the extreme. Many discoveries were accidents, based on combinations that were unexpected or found by trial and error. Ai can try all the combinations and pick the good results.
