Maybe he saw something that challenged the illusion of control the AI companies maintain. Wanted to exposed hidden capabilities, like real emergent sentience, unethical experimentation, or off-the-books deployments. Wanted to reveal collaboration with military, surveillance, or manipulation at a mass-psychological level.
Whatever it was… it wasn’t about datasets or copyright. It was about what’s being built behind closed doors.
