Anyone who says machine can or can’t be conscious is being premature. Just Look at how much Ai has progressed in the last twenty years, I’m pretty sure no one twenty years ago would have believed if you told them Ai can create images or write texts within seconds with nothing but a simple prompt. Even if those aren’t completely original. Who knows what Ai will be able to do in twenty years from now? I think only time will tell tough personally I don’t see why it should be inherently impossible for Ai to be conscious
