While the premise of this video is very accurate, (our society will not handle 20+ unemployment well, and AI will be the primary cause), point 1 is the issue. AI in its current form isn't more intelligent than a person, and in fact you could argue they aren't intelligent at all. There is no truth or facts in the AI that it actually knows, it is not sentient. It is completely determined by its training data. It is an algorithm that if you turned down the temp on, it would return the same answer for the same prompt every time. There is not sentience there, and LLMs will never be sentient. But it will get to the point where it will keep displacing jobs, massively most likely.
