Once again, it all just means that AI car replicate emotional patterns really well. What people are interested in, is whether it EXPERIENCES these emotions or not. What we call "qualia".
I believe we can never answer this question. But saying it does not experience anything whilst WE as humans do, would imply that there is a fundamental difference between our biological brain and a silicon network, where only one can "experience". Seems irrational to me. Except if you are a partisan of dualism, where the "spirit/consciousness" is something apart from physical reality. But again, that's just a philosophical debate where no experience could ever put the hypothesis to test.
Anyway, that was me rambling about metaphysics concepts out of my reach, have a nice day!
