automation is going to continue. I think the main thing we need to ask is how are we going to retrain the people who lose their low skill jobs. do we retrain them or will we put them on welfare for the rest of their lives? Idk But what I do know is we cannot have the population go down. it needs to go up and we need to expand. We need more planet's and eventually stars to keep growing.
