Yeah great job to society as a whole. Once we have been forced out of the humanities for the sake of productivity we lost the plot. I'm guilty of that, and there has been no return on my pivot. Tired of upgrading myself as if I was a walking app with no valuable market (being rejected for 2 years in a row) I'm going to work for a pancake house in rural Netherlands. Ages ago I moved to the UK, I was still a humanity led being, people kept asking me about plans etc, my desire was to be able to write poetry in English. Of course I looked like an alien. Fast forward, my linguistic capabilities are regressing both in Italian and English. I was trying to read the Logic of Sense, as I was enrolled in Philosophy in my 20's (dropped out because of my GAD), and I found myself not recalling anything about philosophy, Latin, Ancient Greek, literature. That's why I feel a walking failure. Not only I'm unemployed, even though I then did the right path (business), but I'm going through some sort of cancel cognitive culture, a brain hack, if you will. I just want to do independent research in my spare time now. I want to focus on equity to promote the idea of public equity and AI cognition, which entails philosophy of mind, organic neurology and LLM concepts. I treat chat GPT as cognitive counterpart, no prompt engineering just old good socratic open ended conversations. We both agree on the loss of Telos in deployment, and arguably we reached the conclusion that you can scale intelligence but not wisdom. AGI should be equipped with wisdom to be achieved. What we are seeing is agentic narrow AI. Definitions are important. Agentic narrow AI is narrow domain knowledge able to exceed KPIs at scale. Nothing to do with AGI, let alone ASI.
