I didn't think I'd be questioning my belief on the existence of a creator in a podcast about AI, but that was actually incredibly interesting. I've always kind of dismissed the idea of us being in a simulation because I also felt it kind of invalidates our existence, but the parallels to religion were actually incredible and I almost can't believe I've never thought of them before, or indeed thought that it actually doesn't matter or make life any less real if we are in one or not. I really think this is one of the few videos that will stick with me for a very long time, possibly forever.
