Chatgpt and other narrow AI is about to automate expertise eg the writing of code, the writing of articles, the creation of art( dall-e, stable Defusion, lensa ai).
When this video came out. Automation was about pre-scripted code and robots, not creative activities.
Then, one had said any creative activity is fairly safe from automation… that is over now,
A single person can now run entire newspaper, can have an entire coding firm, entire engineering, design team, concept art,
human productivity of one person is about to skyrocket exponentially.
What hasn’t been automated yet is “visionary ism..” that spark
UBI is going to have to happen if we don’t want and actually dystopian future of squalor
I worry we will end up ignorant worker ants feeding a thinking machine running all our lives and we don’t understand it, or know how to repair it….
