AI is supposed to be used as a tool not a clutch. A reference. Not something to be used to do things for you. That's what AI is supposed to be. To assist us. Not replace us. You put the AI art on the side. And not claim it as you're own or claim it's the AI's creation. It sould be used to give a general idea on what the art piece we want to make. And not use it as a tracing guide but to guide our minds. (Assuming the "art" has no imperfections. ) To take what we see. And not copy it. But to use it as inspiration. I hate techno-bros. Being all like "AI is the future! And artists suck!" F**k those people they never understand what goes into the mind of an artist. An AI. Doesn't have an imagination. So the "art" it's making isn't art. And on the other side. I hate people saying that AI should be obliterated entirely. Which is stupid. You can use AI. Just don't post it online and claim it as you're own or claim that the AI. Did it. Without making a monstrosity of images from real artists. Who take time money and effort into making. Use it to help give you an idea. And I don't mean. Like "write me a story" and copy and paste. No definitely not. Help it guide you to do and what not to do. I hate the mentality of you're either with us or against us. The world is grey and it always has been. Yet humanity thrives on polarization. Across the world. We're all guilty of this. I am too. We see the world as black and white sometimes. But we need to make a middle ground. Neither use AI to do something for you. Neither never use it. As a way to guide you. I don't support AI "art" by no means. And as an artist myself. It scares me. All these companies are making these tools as a way to be lazy. It's like. Instead of us as humans. Making equations. And asking a quantum computer. To simulate the equation and putting into an environment and not letting the ai do all the work and heavy lifting and using it. And tedious tasks that can take millions of years. And taking that information. And having a good balance. Of human and AI work. And only using AI as a testing ground to figure things out. Things. That instead of doing that we tell the computer. saying "hey uhhhh can you solve this for me? " Getting the answer and being like. "GuYs! ThE Ai Did All ThE wOrK!" Or "I DiD aLl ThE wOrK!" It's. Not a good analogy by any means. But I hope you get what I'm trying to say. I need everyone here to understand. I DO NOT CONDONE AI ART. (Capitalized so it can be recognized easily I'm not mad. Just trying to give people attention. Anyways. Those are my thoughts.
