There are only two cases where I can see AI imagery being a legitimate tool: placeholders (i.e. stuff to replace later) and quick, simple-off jokes (stuff to make the immediate joke).
Anything where it is meant to be money making, gift making, or permanent should be properly human generated. I'm fine with AI assisted tooling for art, but like all things with AI: never treat it as a replacement for skill/talent/critical-thinking.
