Good reporting. But this is how oligarchs win, not machines. It's oligarch take-over. We have power to resist though. Paramount is to seize control of our government, for the people, and free-libre the Ai and to avoid server electricity wastage throttle the servers using Cloud compute credits, like universal carbon credits. We literally have to "steal" government off the oligarchs. The "we" will have power to cage these dangerous beasts = the oligarchs and internet mafia, not the Ai. The 2008 NINJA scams are a good case in point, that was not reliant on any algorithm, it was human decision making all the way down. Don't hate the programmers, they aren't the ones infesting society with racism and homophobia, they are just the (often irresponsible it must be said) enablers of the AI reflecting all of us.
