The thing that always stands out to me is how legitimately passionate artists sound as they talk about their concerns and issues around this subject. Then you see comments and responses from people flat out insulting them and anyone they deem "anti ai". They say they're all elitist, greedy, lazy or young and therefore stupid. Or of course they dont understand AI and therefore all their concerns are wrong. Even going so far as to say doing stuff like this is a waste of time or just plain wrong. It often screams elitism and arrogance. Hell I saw one here calling people philistines because they were older and so had lived through tech changes lol. (Of course thats not everyone but sadly seems to be the majority I see)
Some artists and people are fine with AI they just want there to be a simple way to tell the difference like a watermark. Or a way to opt out of harvesters using their work for training.
