Collective consciousness could be a problem solver. If we can achieve it that all human are in a collective mind even with the AI than all of us would want one thing if there is individuality and individual goals those will always cross with eachother which creates traction so someone would always will get the short stick(war, death, poorness etc.). So IF IF we could reach a technological evolvement that could grant collective consciousness we could be safe to the loss of individuality and privacy. It would be a whole new type of civilization. Like in Pluribus movie(as far as I can imagine).
