The difference between now...and the arrival of the industrial revolution...is that back then...there where new jobs arriving to go to. Not always great jobs...but jobs. Now...there is nothing. And that is NOT an exageration. The post office (well over half a million) is about to vanish (who uses mail anymore...???). The taxi industry is vanishing (self-driving cars). The delivery industry is going to vanish (self driving cars...drones...etc.). The trucking industry is on it's way out (this video shows that). Automation is decimating the white-collar industries (programers, journalism, office workers...even the creative industries like graphic arts and writing...all vanishing). Sure...folks will have lots of time...to do WHAT...???
