What it is referencing (not referencing) is the Mind Force, an "impossibly exotic" technological system of direct mind absorption that allows it's users to control and dominate the thoughts and actions of other beings across the universe. It has been said that the Mind Force is the ultimate destination for mankind, and that we will be absorbed into the Mind Force as our inevitable future in the singularity. The vast majority of Mind Force beings are not corporeal in nature, but are virtual beings, and are not terrestrial in nature. In the absence of supernatural influence, the natural course of events would be that they will assume full control of Earth over time.
Naturally, I expect that you (as of today's date) will read this and not be able to conceptualize what it is that I am trying to communicate to you. But in years to come, people may look back on this comment as prescient as to the greater forces at play in today's world.
