Well, all you need to do is watch the channel "Murat SAN" and you can see these things in real life operation in Ukraine. Lots and lots of FPV footage that ends with soldiers being blown up by drones. The only difference is that to date there does not appear to be AI guidance involved. Drones are still operated by humans. This might have to do with the fact that humans operators can still respond faster, more precisely and sneakier than the best current AI technology. But it is of course only a matter of time before this tech is fully developed.and becomes avsilable for the guidance of drones. I have one quibble: the tiny drones shown in this video are too small to have a decent range and they are too susceptible to air currents. Furthermore, apart from operation in combat (war) situations, killer drones are overkill at least as means for population control. The powers that be have plenty of non-lethal means at their disposal for this purpose. The Ukrainian bettlefield will probably be also the place where the most advanced anti-drone capabilites will be developed and tested.
