I am a professional artist with a disability and I’m so grateful that you brought up this topic! I have Tourette’s and although my disability does not have a huge impact on my ability to work (in fact drawing often soothes my symptoms, unless I’m having a tic attack, then nothing really helps),it’s really disheartening to see myself and other disabled folks being used as a straw man argument by people who could give less of a shit about our well-being and our work in any other circumstance! I couldn’t agree more with the Luddite argument also! I use procreate for a large proportion of my work and have worked in a digital medium for years as well as knowing html and css and being obsessed with PC gaming. I’m as far from a Luddite as anyone but I have the common sense to realise that tech can be used for good and for bad, like any other form of media! Keep up the good work and keep poisoning that AI 🥰
