You know how water flows? in straight line until it hits an obstacle then bounces and keeps bouncing until the path straightens again.
Who says the perfect code, the perfect test, the perfect pattern are the straight line to go? those perfectionist approaches became lately the obstacle with many preachers and gurus on how to do it.
Well, the embracing of AI so called 'bad code', or 'disposable code' (I've read the articles you reference, they are good, by the way) it is the bouncing effect from all those perfect aproaches imposed outthere. Software should and will become as driving cars: you need a few months training and after getting the license, you can drive as best or worse you can, as long you don't damage someone or something, you are good. Who want performance, that's called car racing.
