Our entire economic system is based on the fact that people sell their time and talent for money and then they take that money and they give it to other people in exchange for their time and talent and thus money constantly flows from one hand to another, so if half of the population loses their job and is unable to earn money then they won't have money to give to other people in exchange for their time and services and the whole system collapses!!!!!
