I've been resisting the idea that AI can't be useful. I wrote this 10 minutes into the video, but I don't quite understand their point. If the goal of writing is to learn how to understand and present ideas, then maybe let people do just that instead. You say people use AI like an alien weight-lifting device that allows them to lift more weight, but it sounds like you're suggesting that the methods and processes make the product creative, rather than the product itself being creative. This seems like an argument that says "you must suffer' for the product to truly be valuable. Shouldn't we judge things based on their own merits? If a story has an impact on you, why does the method matter? Struggle isn't what defines an artist or art. It's what it does to those who experience it.
