Well, I don't think it's all bad...
This would force people to actually get better paying jobs! Think about it...
Electrician, Forestry, Construction, Ambulance, Police, Firefighter, Plumber etc... These are all trades that we desperately need more people to study and apply for. All this generation wants to do is IT, online or and computer related stuff.
AI would simply, for the time being, eliminate those pesky small jobs and force people to go take a tradesman course. Not such a bad idea really, because we really need this.
I'm just looking at this from a more positive view.
