Even aside from the fact that digital art is literally just emulating what you can do on paper with fairly little automation, I think AI bros gotta ask why, if we accepted technological tools invented within our lifetimes into our workflow, AI is where we draw the line.
Well, obviously their internal answer is just because "artists are dumb" and "you have blue hair and pronouns" or whatever, but if they were acting in good faith they'd realize pretty damn quick it's because genAI is a replacement of, not augmentation to, the creative process.
