I appreciate your measured approach about this topic. I'm a lifelong artist, analog, digital and now I'm playing around with AI. I think artists copyrighted work should not have been used. Period. You have made that argument really clear here. The people who stole your stuff and made a model on it are unethical, horrible actors, and I hope you have the means to legally pursue that. I will add, because I've used AI, I have been harassed, name called and gotten death threats. I don't beleive that this behavior from angry artists (who have every right to be angry) helps the situation. I do think talking about it helps - you are asking for a clear call to action on that. But what do you and other artists want from the average person once they've been informed? What action will make a difference - because going after end user consumers who are using this for fun isn't it. I'd actually argue that the malicious , angry, attacks push people in the other direction. I think changes in the law and legal action may be the only real answer. Additionally, value for the arts has never been high in our capitalist driven society that only values what makes money - I think that some artist energy might be used to think about the greater social reasons why art isn't valued and how we can change that. This was long - so if you read it - thanks. I have lots of thoughts about AI and the art that has been my life long passion. Great video!
