Whether polite or not, I get really cranky that people conflate a large language model with a knowledge base.
The erosion of the notion of objective truth was already underway with social media being completely unregulated and not subject to editorial oversight, but the nail in the coffin of correct information is bloody AI.
Be polite to AI? Damn their eyes, I say.
