well i've railed at the internet today guys for their horrible luddite attitude about ai in general, but i do agree with them insofar as i'd say... there's just a whole lot of hype surrounding it. it's just a pretty interesting technology that will probably find application at some point. i'm sure it's interesting to talk about, but i don't think it warrants taking up the time of actual government authorities, not at this point
