I think it would be good for context if you included some information about how these videos affect the people in them. I've never been close to a situation like this and all I can think is "how is a video like that gonna ruin someone life? Everybody knows about deepfakes now so it's all about asking if it's real or not". I've work led with people who I'm sure would treat me with respect and not even think twice if I told them the situation.
