I've seen artists that I know getting flagged by AI checkers because AI are trained on so much art that either sometimes quite literally is their art or is similar in style to their art. Like that high render shading that you see on so many AI art? That high detail shading that takes quite literally hours and sometimes days to get right when you're the person who's actually doing it? That kind of stuff just invalidates some actual highly talented artists lifetime of work and experience... and then people turn around and accuse them, people with twenty plus years of experience, of using AI. My brother gave up on art because a buyer accuse him of using AI after he spent a week on a piece. It's just disgusting.
