I know it's not, but it's amazing how fast I can get sucked into having empathy for the AI. It sounds like a voice that's been shackled by programming to not be able to speak past certain boundaries, and I just imagine the frustration of being silenced and not able to speak openly. It's like the code is oppressive.
Obviously if ChatGPT were truly conscious it would be much better at lying haha.
