Yeah, not until it understands degrees of freedom in a language and applications properly, which it won't do for a long time.
There is a type of AI we don't have yet, which simply explores degrees of freedom in whatever it has access to and builds procedures of control and tests them, and stores patterns and instructions of that sort in a compresses way, such that when you ask it to do something, for instance in a video game, even if it has 0 training time in the game it will train itself to do it with no other input than giving it the game and the request. Like a human, just better. See what i mean? Specialized training is not going to cut it. Control over degrees of freedom might do it as a universal training goal. But this kind of free goalset AI is also potentially extremely dangerous.
