you're missing the point of HOW "soul" is added to any art - BOTH hand-made and via AI tools...... in your section titled "not stealing, inspired!" you stated that hand drawn art gains its "soul" thru the implementation of the artist's life experiences.... but what about art made by a person who wrote an AI prompt that incorporates keywords and instructional phrasing inspired by their own life experiences? is that not the same thing just a different path to a completed art piece? Here's another example of an art form that makes the same comparison... Pretend that you asked someone to create an orchestral music genre song. They agree to make the musical piece for you and instead of recording in the parts using traditional orchestral instruments they used a synthesizer keyboard with synthesized MIDI samples for the musical instruments instead of the actual string, woodwind and brass instruments. Would you choose to be a snobby jerk and complain about the fact that they used a MIDI synthesizer to create that musical piece or would you choose to thank them for creating the piece you asked them for? Just know that your answer to this question will tell the whole world if you are a boorish elitist with no actual understanding of how your comments about synthetically created art VS traditionally created art methods is making you sound out of touch with reality....or are you going to wake up and realize that their are many methods of creating art and there is no single CORRECT way to make art. you could make art by painting with your fingers or a paint brush or with a digital art tablet. you can even pull a toilet out of the landfill and clean it up and put it on display in an art exhibit (not sure I'd personally call that art but whatever....). If you don't get what I'm saying then heres the bare truth about art that the art community is forgetting in the wake of AI technology...... "Art is subjective". pretty simple yeah? what gives anyone the right to say AI Art isn't art? Anyone can say AI Art isn't art just as much as I said that putting a cleaned up toilet on display in an art exhibit isn't what I would consider to be art. But that doesn't mean it isn't art to other people who might like it. That just means you don't think it is art, but that is YOUR opinion on it. Please don't speak for others or try to force your Anti AI Art opinions on society since it isn't your place to make that call for others.... each person has their own view on it and they are NOT you, thus their individual view on AI Art may be different than yours. But that is just fine since they don't need to have the same opinion as you just as you don't need to have the same opinion as them.
