Art has literally saved my life, and was my greatest source of comfort when I was a severely depressed and lonely child and teenager. It honestly kind of breaks my brain a bit trying to explain to AI bros why this stuff is bad, because they don't get it, because art is meaningless to them. That's the thing to keep in mind: people who are really into AI aren't people who are actually into art, it's for people who don't care about art, the process, the meaning or the symbolism it can have, to them it's just a product like any other.
