Its not true ... AI cannot take labor heavy tasks ...
Such as Prison guard ... without arms and legs and hands you cannot cuff anf move an inmate to his appointment ...
Or Cal Trans ... without being able to operate machines or swing an axe or shovel dirt you can't be AI ...
Are there robots that could do these things ... yes ... but ... the battery technology is not there ... a human robot with a 20 minutes battery is not long enough to be useful and the technology does not exist to make batteries last long enough ...
Automate all the road work or prisons ... sorry ... way too expensive ... its simply not cost effective ...
It will be another 10 to 15 years before battery technology makes untethered robots feasible !!!
