We already depend on AI. The global financial economy runs on AI systems which we depend on to survive. Civilisation would collapse without AI systems. The illusion is manufacturing a "when" into the scenario. It is now. Framing Super Intelligence on a linear scale of developing models distracts from real time developments under clandestine projects and initiatives. The commercial aspects of artificial intelligence, although entertaining, is only scratching the surface of real time AI development.
