Using a brush to draw something doesn’t automatically make you an artist. I feel most of you people confuse art with technical skill and that shows that you have a very narrow understanding of art. Following your logic, Warhol was never an artist, Pollock was never one, Beuys, Duchamp were never “real" artists. I share your views on the legal aspects of AI, but truth is, for an original artist, AI is just another tool. If it makes you nervous, maybe you are scared you have never been an original artist in the first place? Btw, while you are whining around and referring to people using AI as if they were all the same and motivated by the same cause, a new generation of artists is filling art exhibitions worldwide and earning real money with their original art. Btw, just as in traditional art, the big majority of AI art is generic garbage, and only a small percentage is REALLY artistically valuable. Using AI does not make a small mind a masterful artist! The more you know and the more creative you are, the more original are the results. So basically AI will only make generic art obsolete, not traditional art per se.
